I think one of my favorite things about this wedding was that they had the 4 cutest flower girls you’ve ever seen … and none of them made it down the aisle! Best laid plans, as they say … but fortunately, this gorgeous bride (and that veil!!) made it down the aisle with no problems, and right onto the party down the street! This dance floor was rocking all night long!
Oh 2018. You were one of those trick years. We weren’t really sure where you were going come early spring, and then all of a sudden you turned into May, and then June, and then somehow it’s now December 28th. I really can’t tell you what happened to the last 6 months of my life and how I ended up in the present. It’s like a week is a day and a month is a week, everything keeps moving faster than me; if it wasn’t for living through strong seasonal changes here, I may not know half a year had flown by. And what a wonderful year for Christina Logan Design. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people we’ve met, the weddings and events that took place and the amazing support and help I’ve had along the way. It was truly a beautiful year (from what I can remember). Cheers to the start of a new one!
With one in the military and the other in residency, we had two extremely busy professionals coming together to form this union! Hannah and Scott are the perfect kind of couple – low key, happily busy with life, full of laughter, and perfectly in love. And that is what marriage is about. It was a true pleasure for us to be a part of this magical day – congrats again to Hannah and Scott!
I could listen to these lovebirds talk all day! First, they have perfect southern accents, and second, their amazing banter that keeps them laughing (and in turn, me laughing), ensures a good time! I had so much time fun coordinating this wedding because Lauren pulled out all the stops. From sofas to signage, pews to fire pits, this girl brought the bling along with antlers for this gorgeous wedding at Homestead Manor. It was the perfect mix of casual meets class! So happy for these two beauties, thanks for including us!!
Now this is a true fairy-tale … The scene: high school.
Boy meets girl. Boy dates girl. Boy and girl move apart. Fast forward to 8+ years later, January 2015. Boy sees girl, again. Boy falls for girl, again. Boy proposes to girl one month later: February 2015. Boy marries girl, November 2015. They live happily ever after. Enough said.
Now this wedding was a meeting of the minds coming together from all across the US to make it happen! With the beautiful couple in Colorado, the mom in Georgia, the step-mom in California and the wedding in Nashville, there were a lot of pow-wows, emails, calls and photographs sent to make this event come together! And boy did it impress! They say a little rain is good luck on a wedding day, and they were right, because Plan B was still a show-stopper and nothing could have made this wedding any less gorgeous. Not to mention some amazing photography, ridiculously delicious food and a high energy band to keep these crazy dancers on the dance floor! It was a magical night we are proud to have been a part of!
Meghan is like a ray of sunshine that starts the moment she says hello! She has amazing taste and loves things just so, and that is why with her mother, we created a stunning event from head to toe! Every detail was perfect – from the invites to the draping, the lighting and the flowers – oh the flowers! The way that she and Jon look at one another, is enough to make you know true love exists, and it was pure joy to see her Meghan leave in tears of happiness at the end of the night.
From the moment I got the phone call, I knew Mansa’s wedding was going to be so much fun! She is one of those people with an infectious laugh; no matter the scenario, she is going to take things in stride, laugh about it, think about it … think about it some more … and then stick right by her decision and not look back! This was one great party, and I was so thrilled to work with Mansa over the past year to see this day come to a beautiful fruition! Congrats Mansa & Fred – you make a perfect couple!
Tea for two … or twenty, anyone? I recently got invited by the amazing Brandy at Beyond Details to come to her latest venture, The Ambrose House for a Saturday tea. I grew up on tea (albeit, Lipton), and have always fancied a cup at any time of day. It is a calming drink for me, and the experience at The Ambrose House, featuring the Savannah Tea Company teas, arouses that feeling of enjoying time and company over a pot.
This is a unique venue, one that does not boast weddings, but sweet afternoon get-togethers for ladies and gentlemen alike. With scheduled seatings, you must make an appointment, but you have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely morning or early afternoon tea with friends and enjoy a learning a little history about tea and some satiable snacks to compliment whichever tea you select.
Did I mention you get to choose your own vintage tea cup to drink from and can even sport a hat? The character in The Ambrose House is perfect for a Ladies Tea or a bridal luncheon. Of course, know that this is an experience to enjoy, not a place to hop by if you’re in need of a caffeine boost! A standard pot of tea can take up to 10 minutes to brew properly, but I’ll let them explain the details to you when you go there in person.
