Celebrate: Rachel & Mike

These two beautiful humans got engaged where they had their first date, and quickly off to start wedding planning we went! The hard part? That they were hit by the the poor ripple effect of what 2020, and finding a date that worked for their incredibly busy lives felt nearly impossible! So when the chapel of their dreams and the gorgeous Nashville Omni Hotel were open on the same date, we booked fast! Living right around the corner from Scarritt Bennett meant that this chapel has a lot of sentimental meaning for them. Given that Rachel is a host of ET and splits her time locally and in New York (plus the tons of other cities she travels to weekly),this spot will always have a special part of their hearts. Then all we had to do was bring in some gorgeous jewel toned florals, custom designer gown, tear-jerking slideshows and then a packed dance floor, and the night was a success! These two have a thrilling journey ahead of them and I can’t wait to see it from a distance!

Celebrate: Christina and Chris

Aaaaall the Chris’s and Christina’s we could find for vendors, we loaded into this wedding! From our bride and groom, to myself, to our photographer and the band’s booker. We just loved ourselves a little Chris party and had fun every minute along the way! You have never met a more full of life, full of joy person as this amazing Christina. I hope to be like Christina when I grow up one day (mind you, I’m definitely older than her). She is just the kind of person that makes you happier to be around. And her massive wedding party and reception full of guests, lets you know that I’m not alone in my thoughts. Lots going on in their busy lives, Christina and Chris are going to have a fun ride and this amazing event was just the start of the fun to come!

Celebrate: Ali & Sam

What started out as a Halloween wedding 2020, was thoughtfully pushed to October 30th, 2021, for the safety of their many traveling friends. And like many people, lives evolve and people move over time… Just like these two, off to Texas they went! So what a celebration it was. Ali, who is so kind and thoughtful and patient – I think these two were together for 8 years before marriage! But all good things come in time, and this wedding was an absolute stunner. With the right attention to detail in the places that mattered the most to her, and a lot of awesome DIY help from mom, this gorgeous bride married her dream man and toasted the town along with a fab group of friend and family! So happy for their future ahead!

Celebrate: Miranda & Jeremiah

I just adore when someone’s love story starts so young and pure. Jeremiah and Miranda met and married young, and to me it just really felt like they were the right fit from the first time we spoke. I could feel that they really are soulmates. I talk to a lot of couples, and they all have their amazing stories and fit their own molds, but these two were making their mold together. So honored to have been a part of their journey and to watch them continue to grow together! Such an amazing family!

Celebrate: Ale & Kevyn

The story goes, a couple reunited after knowing one another at one point in time. They fall in love, go on a weekend getaway to Nashville, and decide to get married at a sweet little historic site called Belmont Mansion the following year. They quickly became a family of four and praise the Lord that the restrictions are fully lifted, and they have the wedding of their dreams and fill the dance floor with loved one from near and far. And they live happily ever after.

I honestly love when weddings are a true family affair, and I get to know the whole clan. You know you get close when the week after the wedding the mother of the bride texts you that she misses you and asks when we can do it all again (to which I reminded her she has a second daughter!)!

This duo was a ton of fun to plan with, from their energy to their positive attitudes to their exquisite taste! I am definitely going to miss them too and couldn’t be more thrilled with these gorgeous pictures! Until the next one!

Can I please just say how GOOD it felt to be at this wedding?! It’s like life was finally back to “normal” and this couple couldn’t have been any luckier … the gates of events finally opened up in Nashville and we had a party to remember! Over a year of planning and lots of questioning if we were making the right decisions and what would the social gathering climate actually look like … and we made it. And it was gorgeous and a glorious weekend and the most amazing weather, so thrilled we made the right call and got to fully celebrate these two! Grateful to have been a part of their journey and sad to not get to see them as their life together begins back on my beloved west coast. Best of luck to the Scotts!!

Celebrate: Elizabeth & Ross

Elizabeth and Ross worked so hard to see their vision come to life! We decided on a floral chandelier to set the tone at Ruby. Elizabeth kept mentioning she was excited about having it but was having a hard time visualizing the final product. On wedding day, she looked up at it with tears in her eyes and said, “It’s more than I could have imagined!”. It’s so fun to work together with people like Lindsey Stickline at Gradient and Hue to make the ideas in someone’s head come true. We wish the best to Elizabeth and Ross and to their new adventure in South Dakota.

Christine and Jansen are both local to Nashville and their families are both here, and that is so rare these days!  Because of this, I got to spend a lot of time with the parents of the bride, and it was such a delight to join them on this adventure.  We had the best time making this event absolutely gorgeous and seriously could not have asked for better weather.  It was a perfect day for these two newlyweds and we were so honored to have been a part of their day!
