If you were living in Nashville this year, there is not a person who doesn’t know about Snow Week 2021. It was an eventful week of no one being able to leave their homes, sledding down quiet streets, and a lot of cancellations. But boy did we end up lucking out for Kelsey and Matt’s February nuptials, because what started off as a wild week, ended up becoming a magical, snowy wedding day! Once the concern of guest travel melted away, it was full steam ahead by this amazing team of vendors to make this gorgeous day come alive. And Kelsey and Matt will have amazing wedding photos to remember the day forever!
If you’re looking to meet one of the kindest souls ever, I’ve got her number. Morgan is the sweetest person you could ever meet, and Tim is her soulmate. These two have the best banter and laughs and understanding for one another. They even met playing kick-ball, I mean does that speak volumes?! We had such a joyful time creating this celebration, I feel so blessed to have met these two.
They say you can’t plan life, and for a planner, that can be pretty annoying when it comes true. After being so excited to plan Rafael and Rachel’s September wedding in Seattle, it turned out I would be welcoming my own new addition to our family just 7 days before the wedding, making it impossible for me to travel across the country. My heart broke at the thought of missing this day for two reasons: because I hate to disappoint anyone, and because these two amazing people are also family. Rafael is my cousin and there are only a few chances to get to plan and attend family weddings, and I did not want to miss this one!
I couldn’t have had a more gracious couple to not only be excited for me, but to completely understand that my physical presence on the wedding day wasn’t what makes the process a success. So with that, the day was absolutely beautiful, with a trusted coordinator in place to execute this amazing day, I just wish we could have been there! So thrilled to welcome the beautiful, smart and funny Rachel to our family, Rafael knocked it out of the park with this one!
Mariel is one of those gentle souls who likes things to be absolutely perfect, but always in a calm, observant sort of way. When we had our first phone call I knew that our personalities could mesh in such a way that I would be able to bring peace to her throughout the planning process. And when she came back and said she wanted to work together, I think we both knew that it was going to be an amazing collaboration. She is careful and calculated in her decision making, and I know that is why she and Brandon are going to make it. She turned to me once with tears in her eyes and said “I just can’t wait to marry him”; it was unsolicited and just pure joy. These two are going to have a beautiful marriage!
If you’re going to celebrate NYE at a wedding, this is the way to do it! Caitlin & Elliott had small morning nuptials at their high school amongst close family and friends, and then turned the evening into a black-tie affair at the Oz Arts Center. The band was roaring, the food was delicious, and the guests were all dressed to the 10’s! It was such a fabulous evening, everyone let loose and had a good time celebrating these two, it was certainly the perfect way to ring in the new year! We are a little short on images, but hope you can see the beauty within the few we have 🙂
Sweet, sweet Maria. I don’t think you’ve heard a gentler voice than this one. I absolutely adore her loving energy and how it compliments Chase’s rugged “boy”-ish personality perfectly. When Maria saw Chase for the first time, she called her mom and said she met the man she was going to marry – even though they hadn’t really even spoken! Sometimes I think that two people are just meant to be and their senses gravitate towards one another. This is that case. And we got to help make this day absolutely beautiful. Thank you for that.
Right from the first phone call I knew these two were going to be an amazing time, and I was right, all the way down to the cocktails! Working in the liquor industry has some perks, and this crowd knew how to party!
But it is the internal spirit of these two that was totally beautiful. In Nashville, there are pretty high odds of rain at any given time of year. So when the forecast was showing 50% chance all wedding week, the two decided to take their chances and go ahead with Plan A all the way. For them, there was no Plan B (ahem, we still had one up our sleeves), and that is the way they will continue to live their lives. Walking right into the moment, smiles on their faces, rain or shine.
PS. It was a perfectly gorgeous day without even a rain drop! Enjoy these sweet pics by Abigail Bobo Photography!
Sometimes a whirlwind romance will just take you over! And Jessica and John are that exception. They met and just knew, married at the gorgeous Belle Meade Plantation a year later, with family and friends by their sides. I had such a fun time choosing all the details with Jessica and her mother, where we could focus on the pretty little details and watch an exquisite team of vendors pull it all together! It was a perfect day.
We love Houston Station. We love Ali & Mike. All in all, it’s a win win. This wedding was a party to be remembered! From the incredible dress that Ali wore, to the centerpieces she made, the epic dance party that happened and the incredible wedding party – this was a night to be remembered! We were so grateful to be a part of this wedding and see it all come into fruition from the first moment Ali came to us. It was a great team to work with!
Just remembering back to this day makes my heart swoon a little. You see, it is only on occasion that you get to witness one of your best friends get married. And marry someone from your high school, at that! And this was my lucky day, because years after high school (and no they, never dated one another back then), these two reunited at a bar in town … and history was made.
From the moment I heard the word “wedding” in whisper form off her lips, I couldn’t help my excitement at getting to bring two things I love, together: weddings, and Sarah. And Dos, he’s pretty cool too. It was an exciting year of conversations and choices being made to make her day special. And I am honored to have been asked to be a part in making it all come together. I love Sarah and her family so much, and it feels really good to welcome Dos into that circle.
