I just adore when someone’s love story starts so young and pure. Jeremiah and Miranda met and married young, and to me it just really felt like they were the right fit from the first time we spoke. I could feel that they really are soulmates. I talk to a lot of couples, and they all have their amazing stories and fit their own molds, but these two were making their mold together. So honored to have been a part of their journey and to watch them continue to grow together! Such an amazing family!
The story goes, a couple reunited after knowing one another at one point in time. They fall in love, go on a weekend getaway to Nashville, and decide to get married at a sweet little historic site called Belmont Mansion the following year. They quickly became a family of four and praise the Lord that the restrictions are fully lifted, and they have the wedding of their dreams and fill the dance floor with loved one from near and far. And they live happily ever after.
I honestly love when weddings are a true family affair, and I get to know the whole clan. You know you get close when the week after the wedding the mother of the bride texts you that she misses you and asks when we can do it all again (to which I reminded her she has a second daughter!)!
This duo was a ton of fun to plan with, from their energy to their positive attitudes to their exquisite taste! I am definitely going to miss them too and couldn’t be more thrilled with these gorgeous pictures! Until the next one!
Can I please just say how GOOD it felt to be at this wedding?! It’s like life was finally back to “normal” and this couple couldn’t have been any luckier … the gates of events finally opened up in Nashville and we had a party to remember! Over a year of planning and lots of questioning if we were making the right decisions and what would the social gathering climate actually look like … and we made it. And it was gorgeous and a glorious weekend and the most amazing weather, so thrilled we made the right call and got to fully celebrate these two! Grateful to have been a part of their journey and sad to not get to see them as their life together begins back on my beloved west coast. Best of luck to the Scotts!!
I will never forget this adorable 1 year old’s sweet day! Her mom and I had so much fun planning all the little details for this ONEderland day! Little did we know that this would be my last event pre-covid, and that we were so lucky to get these kiddos together before the world all crumbled!
Now sweet Evie is 2yo and hopefully about to see her little friends once again!
Happy New Year everyone! No better way to start of 2020 than with a fairytale day ❤ Every little girl dreams of having their prince come and sweep them off their feet one day! Well this couple is proof that dreams due come true, and we don’t have to go to Disney for that, it can happen here in good old Nashville! It was hard to not see that Leslie and Mike were made for each other, having their wedding in a beautiful mansion with the perfect combination of elegancy and southern touch ..and this day could not have been more magical!
Elizabeth and Ross worked so hard to see their vision come to life! We decided on a floral chandelier to set the tone at Ruby. Elizabeth kept mentioning she was excited about having it but was having a hard time visualizing the final product. On wedding day, she looked up at it with tears in her eyes and said, “It’s more than I could have imagined!”. It’s so fun to work together with people like Lindsey Stickline at Gradient and Hue to make the ideas in someone’s head come true. We wish the best to Elizabeth and Ross and to their new adventure in South Dakota.
Christine and Jansen are both local to Nashville and their families are both here, and that is so rare these days! Because of this, I got to spend a lot of time with the parents of the bride, and it was such a delight to join them on this adventure. We had the best time making this event absolutely gorgeous and seriously could not have asked for better weather. It was a perfect day for these two newlyweds and we were so honored to have been a part of their day!
When we first met Abby, it was obvious that we knew we were going to love her. Not only is she incredibly charismatic and beautiful (I mean, she was Miss Arkansas), but she is funny and has a lightness to her personality that lets you know she is ready to go with the flow and just have fun! And that’s what we did with the planning. Nothing was stressful in terms of design or decisions; it was all easy, because at the end of the day, she just wanted to have a classically beautiful wedding and marry the love of her life. When she spoke about Phillip, she just lit up and expressed how they were meant to be.
Seeing the two of them together, and his pure emotion and love for Abby at their wedding, was so beautiful. Their first dance was amazing, and the little surprise karaoke session was to die for! It will be one of the most memorable weddings we’ve ever planned ❤
Sweet Emma and Garrett met while camp counselors, and they were performing for the kids in a rendition of High School Musical as Troy and Gabriella – and their fate was sealed! Here they are, years later, dancing their first dance and madly in love! These two are truly meant to be, and you can see it in their eyes. They are so young (Emma graduated the same week as the wedding!) and have a long journey ahead of them, but they are totally blessed with God’s grace and will have a beautiful life ahead of them.
